Lookuru is a keyboard, so it sees what you type. Here is exactly what happens to it.
Lookuru කීබෝඩ් එකක් නිසා ඔබ ටයිප් කරන දේ ඒකට පේනවා. ඒකට හරියටම මොකද වෙන්නෙ කියලා මෙන්න.

Lookuru Keyboard (com.lookuru.keyboard) is provided by Lookuru, Sri Lanka. In this policy, “Lookuru”, “we” and “us” mean Lookuru and the app. Contact: hello@lookuru.com.
This policy explains, in plain words, what the Lookuru Keyboard app for Android does with information.
Lookuru Keyboard (com.lookuru.keyboard) ලබාදෙන්නෙ ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ Lookuru. මේ ප්‍රතිපත්තියේ “Lookuru”, “අපි” කියන්නෙ Lookuru සහ ඇප් එකට. සම්බන්ධ වෙන්න: hello@lookuru.com.

2What you typeඔබ ටයිප් කරන දේ
- No account, no sign-in. You don't create an account or sign in to use Lookuru.
- Lookuru does not log, store or send what you type.
The only exception is translation, which you start yourself. See Translation.

3What is kept on your phoneඔබේ ෆෝන් එකේ විතරක් තියාගන්න දේ
Lookuru keeps a few things only on your phone, in the app's private storage. This data is not backed up to the cloud.

Learning is off in password, PIN, email and web-address fields.

Password, PIN, email, web address fields වලදී ඉගෙනගැනීම off.
4Translationපරිවර්තනය
When you translate (Flip Translate or a word with Word Tools), only the text you choose to translate is sent to Google Translate over an encrypted connection. Google's privacy policy applies to that text: policies.google.com/privacy.
If Google can't be reached, Lookuru translates Sinhala ⇄ English offline, on your phone.
ඔබ පරිවර්තනය කරද්දි (Flip Translate හරි Word Tools වලින් වචනයක් හරි), ඔබ පරිවර්තනය කරන්න තෝරන text එක විතරක් encrypt කරපු සම්බන්ධතාවයකින් Google Translate එකට යවනවා. ඒ text එකට Google ගේ පෞද්ගලිකත්ව ප්‍රතිපත්තිය අදාළයි: policies.google.com/privacy.
Google එකට සම්බන්ධ වෙන්න බැරි නම් Lookuru offline, ඔබේ ෆෝන් එකේම සිංහල ⇄ ඉංග්‍රීසි පරිවර්තනය කරනවා.
5Voice typingVoice typing
Voice typing uses your phone's speech-recognition service. The microphone is used only while you tap the mic. Lookuru does not record or keep audio.
Voice typing වලට ඔබේ ෆෝන් එකේ speech-recognition service එක පාවිච්චි කරනවා. Microphone එක පාවිච්චි වෙන්නෙ ඔබ mic එක ටැප් කරලා ඉන්න වෙලාවට විතරයි. Lookuru ශබ්දය record කරන්නෙවත් තියාගන්නෙවත් නෑ.

This website (lookuru.com) uses no cookies and no trackers. It loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google to download them.

මේ වෙබ් අඩවිය (lookuru.com) cookies හෝ trackers පාවිච්චි කරන්නෙ නෑ. අකුරු (fonts) Google Fonts වලින් load වෙන නිසා, ඒවා download කරගන්න ඔබේ browser එක Google එකට සම්බන්ධ වෙනවා.
8About the Android keyboard noticeAndroid කීබෝඩ් notice එක ගැන
When you turn on a keyboard, Android shows a standard notice saying it “may be able to collect all the text you type”.
Android shows this for every keyboard, because a keyboard technically could. It doesn't mean Lookuru does. Lookuru does not collect what you type. The only text that leaves your phone is text you choose to translate, as explained above.
කීබෝඩ් එකක් on කරද්දි, ඒකට “ඔබ ටයිප් කරන හැම text එකක්ම එකතු කරගන්න පුළුවන් වෙයි” කියලා Android සාමාන්‍ය notice එකක් පෙන්නනවා.
Android මේක පෙන්නන්නෙ හැම කීබෝඩ් එකකටම, මොකද තාක්ෂණිකව කීබෝඩ් එකකට ඒක කරන්න පුළුවන් නිසා. Lookuru ඒක කරනවා කියන එක නෙවෙයි ඒකෙන් කියවෙන්නෙ. Lookuru ඔබ ටයිප් කරන දේ එකතු කරන්නෙ නෑ. ෆෝන් එකෙන් එළියට යන්නෙ ඉහත පැහැදිලි කරපු විදිහට ඔබ පරිවර්තනය කරන්න තෝරන text එක විතරයි.
9Childrenළමයි
Lookuru is not directed at children under 13.
Lookuru හදලා තියෙන්නෙ අවුරුදු 13ට අඩු ළමයි ඉලක්ක කරලා නෙවෙයි.
10Deleting your dataඔබේ දත්ත මකන විදිහ
You can delete anytime:
- Learned words: Settings → Learned words → Clear
- Clipboard copies: Clip Board → Clear All
- Everything: uninstall the app
ඕන වෙලාවක මකන්න පුළුවන්:
- ඉගෙනගත්ත වචන: Settings → Learned words → Clear
- Clipboard copies: Clip Board → Clear All
- ඔක්කොම: ඇප් එක uninstall කරන්න
